For a change of pace I wish to share this story of newly rediscovered colour pictures from the eve of WW2 in England. I just love this sort of thing in general but this in particular because the car featured is none other than a Morris Eight.

    Nice post, Iain, it’s both wonderful and amazing how colour brings out the life in photos from the past.

    Here’s a couple from Paris circa 1914:

    Apparently the Moulin Rouge really was red.

    And restaurants and cafes were as ubiquitous as they are today in Melbourne.
