Thin Edge Of The Wedge: Rudd To Raid Savings

You are right that this is a raid on the people’s savings and that it will be the very thin edge of the wedge too boot. The Rudd Government just gets worse and worse with every day that man stays in the lodge.

Cheers Comrades

  1. GD says:

Great summation by Yale on Kevni’s bank raid.

Yale’s closing paragraph says it all:

For those voters dumb enough (and yes, it really is unbridled stupidity we’re dealing with) to think Kevin Rudd is worth voting for because he’s so cool and hip, this disgraceful policy must surely shake them to their senses.

  2. Iain Hall says:

Yale is right on the money when it comes to commentary about the details of policy.

  3. Tony says:

Sorry Iain, but when I was arguing the toss with Ray, the other day, I googled the debt figure, and your graph (?) is way out of touch ?
Apparently, as we stand NOW, the debt is currently at $264b

Fortunately, labor will be in the wilderness, when these new taxes hit, and with the state of the commonwealth’s bank balance, (or lack of it), Abbott will have no alternative but to stick to the measures ?

    A clever ploy by labor.
Have to give them credit, to devise a plan that shows that they are seemingly doing something about the massive black hole in our finances, that they will leave behind, without actually having to get their hands dirty in the process ? A ploy to lose this election, regroup, and come back hat in hand at the following, saying, look see what the libs have stolen from you ?

Fortunately, the aussie voter is a lot “cleverer” these days, and will see straight through this inevitable spin from Kruddy and his Kronies ?
