Go directly to jail, or No virgins for a very long time

click for source

At the risk of being accused of indulging in “Muslim Bashing” I am today rather pleased to see that a group of Jihadists are packing their bags for a little trip across the pond to enjoy the comforts of a US jail, in all likely hood their sojourn there will be long and boring and their dreams of a virgin filled afterlife will be on hold for a very long time  frankly their fate is far better than they deserve and it should provide an example to those who dream of sharia that British and American systems of Justice are not playthings  to be abused  in the name of Allah.

Cheers indeed Comrades

It is not “Muslim bashing” to cheer when a group of thugs, criminals, terrorists or terrorist supporters get their comeuppance, Iain. I for one am pleased to see this mob finally facing some kind of justice.

It is only “Muslim bashing” when you suggest or imply that all Muslims are like this lot, when clearly they are not. Or when you claim that Western civilisation is under siege from Islam, which frankly I think that Western civilisation has the upper hand over tribal medieval cults.

As for the 72 virgins thing, I have never understood the appeal of that. What if you get 72 ugly ones? And what happens after you shag the said 72 virgins? Eternity is a bloody long time and I’m not sure 72 virgins gives you an adequately stocked larder…

You look at my postings on the subject and you will find that I consistently make a point of being critical of the Jihadists and other extremists rather than the so called “moderate” Muslims.
I’m with you on the virgins thing though give me an enthusiastic slapper over a virgin in the sack any time.

  3. Brian says:

It was a comment more intended for one of your other bloggers, who thinks because he lives in a Muslim enclave in western Sydney that the whole world is under siege from them.

I’m at the age where virgins are well out of reach and an “enthusiastic slapper” might kill me. So I think I’ll pass and have a cup of tea instead.

  4. Iain Hall says:

Well as long as its a GOOD cup of tea Brian Personally I’m drinking an Earl Grey at present, Twinings of course

  5. Damian says:

Iain, what about when you call the religion of Islam a totalitarian ideology? How does that distinguish between terrorists and the millions of faithful who commit no crimes?

Oh, and nice work with the “enthusiastic slapper” comment. With all of the Islamophobia lately there was a risk that readers would forget about your attitude toward women. Thanks for the reminder.

  6. Iain Hall says:

Just curious Damian but are you a convert to Islam?
That said I don’t retreat from calling Islam a totalitarian ideology because that is precisely what it is. In any event even within a generally totalitarian regime there will be the moderates and the zealots. Some of the most dogmatic may even be totally charming in a social situation.

“my attitude to women” serves me perfectly well as my many female friends proves as does the fact that I have been with the same woman for thirty years, when you can have such an enduring relationship then I will take notice of your judgement of gender relations.

Brian, me too, but oh the memories 🙂

    Damian reckoned:

Iain, what about when you call the religion of Islam a totalitarian ideology?

Damian, it is a totalitarian ideology.

    Damian quailed:

How does that distinguish between terrorists and the millions of faithful who commit no crimes?

Damian, the same question could have been asked of other totalitarian regimes during the 20th Century. Of course millions of moderate Russian and German citizens didn’t want WW2 and the Holocaust to happen, but due to extremists both did.

    Damian languishes:

nice work with the “enthusiastic slapper” comment…..there was a risk that readers would forget about your attitude toward women. Thanks for the reminder.

Damian, sounds like you are a humourless and supercilious leftie straining at the bit to find something wrong with Iain’s relationship with women.

A bit like Labor trying to destroy Tony Abbott for having a loving and supportive wife, and three wonderful daughters.

No Damo, you have to try harder than that with your self-righteous smirking.

  9. Brian says:

I didn’t read much into Iain’s “slapper” comment. You don’t judge someone’s attitude to women by one pretty harmless off the cuff remark.

On the subject of Islam, of course it is a totalitarian ideology. Any religion that demands worship and supplication to a god and/or a prophet is by its nature totalitarian. I might add that Catholicism and Judaism are no better. Their followers are taught to fear God, Yahweh, Jesus, the Virgin Mary, etc. and pay homage on a regular basis. Muslims are not allowed to drink booze, gamble, eat at certain times. Jews can’t play footy or cricket on Saturday or enjoy the simple pleasure of a bacon sandwich. Catholics aren’t allowed to use contraception.

All that is totalitarian in theory. Where the rubber hits the road is the extent to which individuals surrender their free will and conscience to this medieval trash.

  10. Iain Hall says:

Brian, at least Catholics and other Christians don’t demand supplication five times a day or that unbelievers be put to the sword and they have likewise at least tried to come to terms with modernity.

Thanks for your comment in response to Damian suggesting that my slapper comment meant that I don’t respect women. Of course what I meant was that an experienced lover is far more satisfying than one who knows nothing 😉
