Did you all miss me?

Well I missed being on the net as our land line has been out of service since Sunday morning and I have frankly been at something of a lose end without access to the net.

Anyway I have used the time to reorganise my computer files so that they now have an order that will let me find what I want more quickly. Oh  yeah, and I’m now a couple more  levels up on “Need for speed the run ” Anyway things are looking “Good to go” so I hope to have a new post organised for the morning.

Cheers Comrades

Well, to be quite honest, no! Only because it hasn’t been that long. I thought your silence was merely well placed editorial acumen. Welcome back 🙂

Btw mobile internet sticks work a charm, not as fast as broadband but well worth the investment for those times you are ‘disconnected’.

It seemed longer to me GD!

We don’t get good reception for wireless here so your good suggestion would probably not work 😦

  3. Ray Dixon says:

I was ‘off the air’ for 4 days a couple of months ago due to a problem at the local telephone exchange. No one missed me either.

  4. Iain Hall says:

Oh its sad when your own lunchtime ceases to legendary Ray 😎

  5. Ray Dixon says:

Try this, Iain: When I write a post and no one comments on it (which, believe it or not, sometimes happens!) I take ‘the glass is half full’ approach – i.e. it must mean everyone else agrees with everything I’ve written and there’s nothing more to be said.

  6. Iain Hall says:

    Well there is that Ray!

  7. Ray Dixon says:

Beats the hell out of worrying if they “like you”!!!!!

  8. Richard Ryan says:

“like you”!!!! IT’S like the car salesman or saleswoman——when buying a new car, they are all over you, when the deal is done—–come back in a weeks time–they don’t want to know you—-they are the true dregs of society–some of them anyway. Once bought this brand new Mazda for the wife some years ago, and this bloke asked me did I have the money to buy it, so he lost the sale and I bought it at Newcastle, hundred of dollars cheaper also. Some weeks later this bloke rang me up from Mazda head office, wanting to know why I had not bought my car from my local dealer, he went right off when I told him the story. They move around these car dealers.

  9. Richard Ryan says:

Iain! Maybe you are a legend in you own mind, and also my comments, maybe make you look good.

  10. Iain Hall says:

Richard that is a rather long anecdote for you but I don’t get the relevance to be honest.

  11. GD says:

Richard, underneath all that anarchist exterior you are just a bloke, like the rest of us, who wants to belong.

  12. Iain Hall says:

And in the spirit of charity I will continue to welcome Richard here G D 🙂

  13. GD says:

    He is good value!
