What do ya think of the Twizy?

This looks interesting on a number of levels it still lacks a range that would would work for many people in this country but it is good to see a major car maker thinking outside the box and producing an electric  machine at a more reasonable price than the alternatives offered so far.

Exactly what is needed for our choked cities, but don’t know about making it trendy looking enough for the latte set to get involved, and they’re the ones you would have to convince ?

    NO.
Whilst I do like the Renault (I have the Megane Convertible), where would I put the kids?

Great idea, but for the money couldn’t they have included some protection from the rain and wind? Can you even use it in the rain?

According to reports that I have seen they do supply some soft half doors for the Twizy but that is your lot when it comes to weather protection . That said if you have doors that is extra weight, and then there would be an expectation that there should also be a heater/air-con which are both out of the question in an electric machine because they would greatly diminish the range experience with my own car (which has no doors ) is that just having a roof does a reasonable job of keeping you pretty dry unless it is really pissing down and or windy.
