THE second cousin of Indian doctor Mohamed Haneef who crashed a vehicle packed with gas canisters into Glasgow airport has died in hospital from the burns he sustained in the failed June 30 attack.
Kafeel Ahmed, 27, reportedly had burns to 90 per cent of his body after the attack on Scotland’s biggest airport, a day after a linked failed incident in London.
Ahmed, an engineer from Bangalore in India, drove a Jeep Cherokee laden with propane gas canisters into the front of the terminal, setting the vehicle and part of the building ablaze.
He was in a critical condition under an armed police guard in a hospital specialist unit.
Well what can I say, but it could not have happened to a nicer Guy.
