Unrequited love never sounded so good! When you’re in love with someone that hates the fact you even exist, you might think you would be down. Not the Lucky Lads! While the romance gods were putting a big toe up his ass, lead singer, Lee Aubrey Oswald, could only think of taking the pain, writing it down, and making yet more great rock n’ roll….and the rest of the band, recollected on the original album liner notes, “brought it on home” (odd description when you consider that during the session their tour bus/mobile home was stolen, ransacked and burned – Rock On!)
I thought it was quite funny and worthy of being turned up to “eleven”
