Having gone into premature Gloat mode in her Blog Greado may well have to eat her words as it seems that Peter Dutton may well hold on in the electorate of Dickson, as even the ALP say that it is too close to call.
The ALP’s Fiona McNamara has claimed 50.3 per cent of the vote on the back of a 9.2 per cent swing in Dickson, in Brisbane’s outer north.Sitting Liberal MP Peter Dutton, the outgoing assistant treasurer and revenue minister, has 49.7 per cent of the vote, with all 35 voting booths counted in that seat. However, ALP Queensland secretary Milton Dick said Dickson was too close to call, with postal votes yet be counted.
Well we shall see when the postal votes are counted won’t we?
Cheers comrades
